Tools & Techniques

Our workshop is full to the brim with hand tools, cutting benches and sewing machines.

Upstairs has a wide array of sewing and skiving machines allowing flexibility under times of high demand. This upper section also houses the components waiting for assembly.

We hold a remarkable collection of hand tools—each chosen for its precision and efficiency. A wide selection of knives, edge bevelers, punches, burnishers, and more; these tools reflect years of refinement and dedication to the leather craft. Nearby spaces also house patterns, templates, dies, and specialized machinery that support the process.

Hand Stitching

A waxed-linen thread is used for the saddle-stitched details. Holes pierced with a bradawl and the tread is pulled tightly after every stitch.

Marking & Cutting

The image shows a gauge being used to score the stitching line parallel to the edge.

Threads & Hardware

We use a heavy 'nylon bonded' or 'core-spun polyester' thread for machine stitching.
