Leather Installations

At the DE BRUIR studio, we specialise in large-scale artistic works crafted in leather. These bespoke installations combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, creating striking feature pieces for architectural spaces. We collaborate with Architects, Developers, and Private Clients to realise unique leather commissions that elevate interiors through texture, form, and material integrity.

Dublin Landings

This leather artwork was commissioned by Ballymore, the developer of Dublin Landings. This is a prestigious development alongside the River Liffey in the Dublin Docklands area.  The artwork was an original concept by Arrow Architects in Denmark & RKD Architects in Dublin.

The brief was to interpret the course of the River Liffey, from its source in the Wicklow mountains as it winds through Kildare and out to sea at Dublin Bay. It was decided to recess a stylised channel back into the wall of leather panels.

The Curragh Racecourse

An invitation by Grimshaw Architects to create a feature wall piece for the prestigious new Curragh Racecourse.

The Studio created a 10 meter long (and 1.6m tall) engraving in leather panels. The engraving shows the historic Curragh plains and its position in Co. Kildare. The engraving is based on the 1840’s ordnance survey of Ireland.
