THE ORIGINS
Our first cabin bag design, 'The Parachuter Bag' dates back to 2008. It was a distinctive and durable leather backpack. The original design has been continually refined over the years.
The unique construction features a large continuous portion of leather that wraps around and overlaps to create a generous interior. Your contents are held safely inside thanks to a unique friction binder detail.
With the straps extending from the outer spine of the bag. Adjustable shoulder straps ensure a snug fit, while a chest stud detail keeps the bag secure and bounce-free.
Even when empty, the bag retains its structured shape, making the Parachuter Bag a timeless and versatile statement piece.
The Parachuter Bag was Garvan de Bruir’s first carry-on design, originally crafted for his personal use. Its success inspired him to establish his leather atelier, setting the foundation for his distinctive craftsmanship.
As it is so labour intensive to make, Garvan only carries out a limited number every year. Please contact us if you are interested in commissioning a Parachuter Bag. The price is €750.
